SEED

SEED, the procedural sound app for iPad, does not collect, transmit, sell, rent or share personal information, usage analytics, advertising or device identifiers, or tracking data. It works entirely on your iPad.

Your sounds and sessions

The audio you import, your sessions, settings and recordings are stored on your iPad, and 3Maze has no access to them. Your recordings are also visible to you in the Files app, in On My iPad › SEED. When you export or share a file, it goes to the destination you choose, and that destination’s own privacy practices apply.

Microphone

SEED uses the microphone only while the Record a Source window is open, and only after you allow it. What you record stays on your iPad. You can turn microphone access off at any time in the Settings app.

MIDI

If you connect a MIDI keyboard, controller or app, SEED reads its messages on your iPad to play and control sounds. MIDI messages are not stored or sent anywhere.

Background audio

SEED uses iPadOS background audio only to keep playing when you switch apps or lock the screen, and only while Keep Playing in Background is on.

Metron, the metronome for iPhone, does not collect, transmit or share personal information, usage data or device identifiers, and it does not connect to the internet.

Your tempo, time signature and light or dark setting are saved only on your iPhone, and 3Maze has no access to them. Metron does not request or use the microphone, camera, location or contacts. It uses iOS background audio only so the click keeps playing when the screen locks, and it records nothing.

Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. 3Maze never receives your payment details.

Emails to 3Maze

If you email 3Maze, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach, such as screenshots. We use them only to reply to you, and we don’t share them.

This website

3maze.com uses no cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from 3maze.com itself. Like any website, its hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Children

Because 3Maze apps collect no personal information, they collect none from children either.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
